I saw an article that talked about how ‘Millennial Moms’ are ‘feeling the need for deeper boundaries with technology’. They want to raise kids who feel seen, not second to a screen. Which I get, I think we could all put our phones down a bit more.
So these Moms have started shutting their phones off at night, and say that their lives, family, and overall life improvements are astounding …
Some have even gone back to landlines and installed a good old corded phone. Again, claiming the results were amazing!
BUT, could you actually go BACKWARDS and ditch the cell phone and go with just landline? Yes, being reachable at all times can be annoying (Trust me, I can ignore a phone call very easily), but I also don’t mind that. What if there’s an emergency!? It’s a tough balance, but I still feel like a landline would be a waste for me. Unless the phone had one of those massive 8 foot cords, where you could stretch it out and walk all over the house! hahahahaa
