It’s funny that the marketing for this upcoming Jurassic installment has been circling around it being a brand new adventure told in a brand new way… because this really looks like more ham-fisted rehashing of everything we have already seen before. But this time there’s Scarlett Johansson!

In real life, I do appreciate that she was a fan of the franchise from day one just like we all were back in 1993. And she’s been acting in major movies since about the same time, so her addition is a long time coming. If only her character seemed a bit more interesting than mysterious smuggler/genetic science wizard.

But as a sucker for dinosaurs on the big screen, I’ll be in my seat watching. Are you excited for the 7th Jurassic Park movie?
