4 Things to Keep in Mind this St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is this weekend and without coming across as preachy, it feels like an appropriate time to remind you of a couple of things if you’re planning to have a few:

The age-old belief that drinking light beer is somehow healthier… That’s a common misconception.

Sure, it may have fewer calories and be less filling, but let’s be real – it can also lead to you consuming more of it. So, is it really that much better for you in the long run? Probably not.

Beer before liquor, never been sicker. Liquor before beer, you’re in the clear. WRONG.

The order doesn’t matter. If you drink a lot – you’re going to get sick. Moderation, people.

There’s also the idea that drinking too much beer leads to a beer belly. It doesn’t.

Not according to the experts, it’s not the beer’s fault… It’s likely those late-night cheeseburgers and greasy snacks you can’t resist on your way home from the bar. Five cheeseburgers in one sitting? Yeah, that might be a factor.

Finally, Don’t be a dummy. Plan a safe ride home.

See above.
