It’s important to look out for one another in this extreme weather. Started out as a pilot program last year, City of Edmonton has expanded and installed 13 drinking water hydrants all around the city. Be it because you ran out of water at the dog park and the pooch could use a drink to avoid over heating. Or maybe you’ll notice someone in dire need of hydration, you can point them in the right direction. We are fortunate to have clean drinking water and the opportunity to ensure everyone in Edmonton does is very important.
It’s cool to care! Remember that!

Stay hydrated! In partnership with @EPCOR 13 fire hydrants were turned into water bottle filling stations. This is an expansion for a pilot project launched in 2021 to provide more access to drinking water during hot weather.
